Crown Mountain is the musical partnership of brothers Ryan and Jonah Murray-Laird, originally from Geneseo, New York. Their sound blends rock, alternative, folk, and indie with a touch of reggae, shaped by influences ranging from Sublime and The Avett Brothers to The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Bob Marley.

Writing and recording their own music since 2017, the brothers bring a raw, heartfelt energy to everything they do. They play most of the instrumentation themselves, creating music that feels both rugged and warm, with gravelly vocals, rich melodies, and a live energy that makes you want to move.

For Ryan and Jonah, Crown Mountain is about family, freedom, adventure, and chasing a dream together. In 2026, they signed their first record deal with No Choice Music Group. Their first single with the label, “Deadly Little Lies,” arrives September 18, 2026, with their debut full-length album coming soon.
